Stryker Corporation experienced a cyberattack on March 11, 2026, affecting its Microsoft environment, but the company confirmed the incident was contained to its own internal systems with no malware or ransomware detected. All connected products, including the Mako surgical system, Vocera communication devices, LIFEPAK equipment, and navigation systems, were confirmed safe to use throughout the incident.

Manufacturing and ordering systems were disrupted but restoration progressed rapidly. By April 1, 2026, operations returned to full status with production moving toward peak capacity. The investigation involved third-party cybersecurity experts from Palo Alto Networks Unit 42, as well as the FBI, CISA, and other government agencies.

No evidence of customer, supplier, or vendor data compromise was identified during the investigation. Stryker stated that patient care remained its top priority throughout the recovery period, maintaining transparency with customers through multiple status updates during the incident.
